Zeiss Expands the Conquest Apia Spotting Scope Lineup
In April of this year, Zeiss announced the market launch of the Conquest Apia 65 mm angled spotting scope. Today, we learned that this lineup will be expanded to include a straight 65 mm model as well as an 85 mm class model, which will also be available in both angled and straight versions.
The Conquest Apia 65 mm will be offered with an eyepiece providing a magnification range of 20-50x and a field of view ranging from 2.75° to 1.55°, while maintaining a comfortable eye relief of 19 mm.

The 85 mm objective diameter spotting scope delivers a magnification range of 24-60x and a field of view range of 2.3° to 1.3°, also with an eye relief of 19 mm. The minimum focus distance for both variants is 3.5 meters. The angled version weighs 1,772 grams with a declared transmission of 86%, while the straight version weighs 1,758 grams with a transmission rating of 84%.
