Cons: Though very light, my Zeiss makes itself ”known” after long coastals works and I have started to look for an additional SFl 8x30 in order to carry less. The front covers are fiddly and I would like more stable version that is easier to attach and remove. I have replaced the neck strap and the strap of the protective case by paracord straps made by German specialist C-Rope which I highly recommend.
Pros: I work as an interpreter and often sit in the back of huge conference rooms. Sometimes it is difficult to read texts that are displayed or projected at the front of the room - and therefore I need excellent low light qualities - which my Zeiss SFl 10x40 delivers excellently. I also travel to coastal regions often - in Germany and France - and take the ferry from Kiel to Gothenburg in Sweden. I love observing ships, birds and seals - and my Zeiss does exceedingly well.
Summary: Excellent build and optical qualities - great and clear field of vision.
