Cons: The case feels a little awkward? I have to narrow the IPD to fit it in with the straps on. Up close you have to tweak the IPD to get the best view but that\'s hardly a complaint given the incomparable close focus.

Pros: Incredible sharpness, field flatness, and nonexistent CA at all focus distances. It\'s noticeably better than other 8x42 binoculars I\'ve tried in the $500 price class. Is this because less extreme design parameters lead to better quality? The close focus is incredible. A+++, 10/10. Very compact.

Summary: These binoculars are like a portable microscope that can somehow still be used for long distances. There\'s so much to look at that you never could see before, such as the details of bark, moss, mushrooms, flowers, insects… it\'s like an ultra HD nature show. The size is convenient enough to take everywhere. I was worried the eye relief with glasses would be a problem but it\'s been fine. They\'re no stargazing binoculars but the view of terrestrial objects is still fine at night despite the small exit pupils.
