The specifications and features of the new binoculars look truly impressive. Below is a summary:

  • ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass in the objective lenses
  • Schmidt-Pechan prisms with phase-corrected and dielectric coatings
  • Lanthanum glass in the eyepieces
  • Additional field flattening lenses in the 42mm models
  • Fully multi-coated (FMC) optics on all air-to-glass surfaces
  • Hydrophobic (water-repellent) lens coatings

Despite having 34 mm objective lenses, which are larger than the classic 30–32 mm, the smaller models weigh only 525 grams. The weight of the 42 mm models is typical, ranging from 755 to 790 grams. The binoculars impress with their fields of view: the 8x34 model offers 8.3 degrees, the 10x34 provides 6.7 degrees, the 8x42 delivers 8.1 degrees, and the 10x42 boasts as much as 7 degrees. The latter model looks particularly impressive here, as its eyepieces feature an apparent field of view of up to 70 degrees. It is also worth noting that comfortable eye relief has been maintained across the range, varying from 16 to 22 mm.
