Overall
Owner since: 3 years
Price: £100
User profile: Amateur
Cons: None really, but if I had to be picky, tthey are not fully waterproof.
Pros: Wonderfull light snall & ergonomic binoculars that punch well above their weight for the price! The sharpness when used conventionally or at extreme close focus is outstanding. My favourite go-to bins.
Summary: Great for bird spotting & insect study. Given their current value for money, I wish Pentax/Richo would upgrade these binoculars to fully waterproof & maybe even enhance the quality of the lenses further. If doing that meeant putting 25% extra cost on the product, I would still consider it a bargain, & I suspect many others would too.
