    Cons: No IS ;)

Pros: Portability. Brightness. Sharpness. \'Ease of view\'.

Summary: These are my edc binoculars, besides the older Zeiss Compact (not the Pocket) 10x25. Purchased them used and they have been serviced. Walking through nature they are as they are called: a true Companion. Comparing their light-output with 40+mm objectives doesnt make any sense imo.

    Cons: Brightness, Vibrancy

    Pros: Housing, handling, FOV, sharpness,

Summary: While searching for a handy and lightweight pair of binoculars with 10x magnification, I became curious about the Swaro 10x30 Companion. I also own a Zeiss SF 10x42 and a Canon 10x42 IS. I have very high standards. I really liked the image through the Swaro, and the sharpness was excellent right to the edge. I admit that it\'s a little unfair to compare these binoculars with premium models with 10x magnification, but after looking through the Canon binoculars, the Swaro paled in comparison. I found that they lacked vibrancy and light. The image from the Swaro seemed a little dull and lackluster to me. So I sent the Swaro back because I wasn\'t convinced given the price. Nevertheless, I consider the Swaro to be very good binoculars. I am 66 years old and look through binoculars without glasses.
