Overall
Owner since: 1 month
Price: 1000
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Glares... I simply don\'t get it how one of the best binoculars producers in the world can\'t deal with them in their top lines like SLC, EL and NL Pure !
Pros: Abbe-Koenig prisms, 93% or more of the light transmission, enormous 23mm eye relief, huge (the biggest I\'ve seen) eyepieces lens ! Yes, they are heavy, but once should expect that from quality 56mm binoculars. W B generation has quite wide 7.6 degree nicely detailed FOV with almost no aberrations up to 85-90% of the field. Colors, details, contrast are on the highest level comparable to other alpha-class binoculars.
Summary: I think this is currently (still sold by Swarovski in 2025) the best 8x56 / 7mm exit pupil low light / astronomy binoculars on the market
