Cons: In comparation with a cheaper Nikon Monarch 5 ED has a weaker contrast and definition (in the center and in the edge of FOV). And very poor light transmission with strong yellow colour tint. Focus wheel has a lap with lacking precision. it is not sold with the bag...
Pros: very little distorsion
Summary: It is a cheapest Zeiss, and unfortunately this thing can be noted in optical and mechanical quality.

Cons: Low-resistance focus wheel takes some getting used to. Some internal reflections in extreme contrast conditions. High resistance when adjusting eyecups but acceptable. Minor background glare noted in rare viewing conditions due to eyecup depth. Long but fast focus throw. Made in China.
Pros: Optics are quite sharp to about 90% of view. Color rendition is perfect. Minimal CA. Small, compact size and lightweight. High build quality. Rubber armor is clean and professional and workman-like. Excellent value.
Summary: Incredible value for the money. Included accessories are disappointing. Recommend ordering Zeiss Cordura Case #1285644
