Cons: The Companion is on the sweet spot when it comes to quality, size and price. Half the price of the NL, this product is much lighter and has a lot of charm and personality to it. I use glasses and it performs even better with glasses than without.
Pros: Using glasses of -8 in magnitude, the Companion is not able to compensate more than ca. -6 (short sighted). I am therefore unable to use the CL without glasses for objects at long distance. Other binos (such as Vixen) can compensate this. The focus wheel itself has a short play, 5 degrees, which is more than expected. Optical quality is excellent.
Summary: I highly recommend the CL Companion B model for those looking for low wight, high optical and built quality and sleek design. For people at higher age (60+), the optics match the biological light sensitivity and exit pupil.
