Overall
Owner since: 1 month
Price: 1299
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Moderate CA in "test" conditions but can reproduce in real-world situations, CA is away from center but closer than expected, Price?
Pros: First-rate build quality and design, incredibly sharp optics from edge to edge (about 90%), perfect focus, excellent color rendition, zero glare or reflection issues, APO lens system, extremely lightweight
Summary: For the asking price some users expect perfection but this model is still half the price of top end brands. This model is a great hunting model for its lightweight and higher power features. I fully expect Vortex to release an updated model with better CA control but perhaps at a higher cost.
