User profile: Amateur
Cons: Notorious chromatic aberration and pincushion starting about 70 percent of field of view.
Pros: Solid and sturdy construction. Very sharp image with real colours. Focus is easy because it has a lot deep of field. Good bag and comfortable strap.
Summary: Value is good. The most important problem is chromatic aberration in the extreme edges, it can be annoying sometimes. There are better options in 7x50, for example, Nikon Action Ex 7x50 (not so expensive and a lot of better quality image).
