Cons: Long rubber eyecups feel a bit too big. Focus knob is very small.

Pros: Excellent optics, great balance and feel in the hand. Image clarity all the way to the edge of FOV. Beautiful glass.

    Cons: Not fully waterproof

Pros: One of the best optics put there in 10x magnification

Summary: I have had this binocular for many years now and every time I pick it up, I marvel at how much detail it manages to pick up in a scene. I also have a 10x42 Zeiss FL and I find the Nikon is equal in every respect except for fov ( the Zeiss taking the edge). The balance and ergonomics are beautiful and the weight is just superb (great balance). I use this bino for astro use and it absolutely excels. 5 Stars for this model all the way.

Pros: * optics outstanding * lightweight - yet good solid feel - suprisingly robust * great for astro and daytime use

Summary: * classic Porro model * field of view slightly narrow at 6 degrees
