Cons: It is a heavy binocular

Pros: Very well build Razor sharp view Very nice 3D effect Good in low light conditions

Summary: I would say this is a extreme well build binocular and still a very usable classic that i use every night if i have clear skies to look at the stars and every day to look at birds in the fields sn in the weekend to look at the boats at the sea near my house. And this for at least 25 years with great joy.

Cons: They are very very addictive to look through and they don\'t make them anymore so its very hard to get one if you loose one because people who have one wont sell you one. The objective covers will come loose at a certain time but Zeiss will send you new ones....but try to get them on.... Didnt came with a bag and the stap sucks. For longer observations you need a tripod, but the the view is just magical. You can use i a chair for some minutes or from roof of a car.

Pros: This is pure quality, German enginering at its best. They just don\'t make instruments like this anymore in serial production: Magnificent Big Porro. In a way it\'s a magical instrument because it can give you deeper understanding of outer space, if you know what i mean. If you treat her right she will talk to you...

Summary: If you can find a good specimen of this truly piece of art, buy it and use it till the end of your days, after that your children and grandchildren will use it with great joy and satisfaction. The best Zeiss ever made,

Cons: Very hard to find, quite rare. Objective covers are a pain, they are attached to the barrels and are quite flimsy. Might cut them off and use conventional caps.Hard to find a case or bag that will store them safely. I found a Tenba byob 9 slim, which is a perfect snug fit.

Pros: Tough and rugged. Optically stunning on the Night Sky. Good eye relief. Sharp easily viewed field stop. Wide APOV , just under 70 Degrees. An optical masterpiece.I bought them for Night Sky viewing, they don\'t disappoint.

Summary: Having been an optical - Astronomy aficionado for over 50 years these have given me the finest view of the deep Sky i have ever had. They take you\'r breath away and i speak having owned over the years ,among others a Christens 6\" triplet Refractor, a 10x80 Zeiss Flak glass, etc etc.
