Overall
Owner since: 5 years
Price: $300
User profile: Amateur
Cons: A bit bulky.
Pros: The IS system and great optics
Summary: I bought these on a lark when they were on sale. The IS system makes them perform like much larger bins. While the objective limits them somewhat, you can usually see more detail than with a non-IS system and larger objectives. Why Canon IS binoculars are not the default choice for many serious birders is beyond me.
