Overall
Owner since: 3 months
Price: 300
User profile: Amateur
Cons: -Leatherette covering, deteriotes fast in humid conditions. -Not waterproof -a bit more magnification would have been nice (12x63) -cheap plastic 'Leatherette' case.
Pros: -very bright images -tight central focusser -very nice deep coatings -like the rubberrings on the objectives and soft eyecups
Summary: This was the Bino I always wanted. Use it as 'fast grab'-bino under the nightskies. Not mounted, just in hand.

User profile: Amateur
Cons: After 10 years the leatherette cover is deteriorating. Field of view limited.
Pros: Good optics, light weight, good eye relief. Great for hand held astronomy especially from a dark sky location. Even better on a tripod.
Summary: I recommend it as good value.
