Cons: Dry o-ring in focusser caused an annoying squeeking noise and the focusser was not running smooth. Issue resolved by rinsing the binos under the tap with fresh water.
Pros: Killer optics, for me personally the best money can buy. Resolution, contrast, edge sharpness, colors and DOF are second to none. Compact for a 8x42.
Summary: This was my bino of choice after comparing the Zeiss HT, Leica Ultravid HD, and this new Swarovski SLC wb. They all have their strong points, but after all, I liked the optical performance of the SLC best, and that's what counts for me. For looks and natural color rendition, it would have been a GREEN Ultravid HD. For build quality and brightness, it would have been the Zeiss HT. But when I looked though the barrels of the SLC, I was sold. But I'm sure I would have been perfectly happy with the other 2 as well.
