Swift Optics used to be more popular than Sears on the European market and the Aubudon No. 804 8.5×44. remains its most recognizable product; still that company wasn't idle when it comes to the 7×35 class either, with several other well-put-together, interesting models in their line-up.
Once again I would like to focus on instruments I've handled personally; listing all models and their variants would mean writing a separate article.
We can start with the Swift Holiday Mark II 7×35 BWCF no. 766 that I had managed to buy in mint condition. The binoculars didn't stay long in my hands as I passed it on, giving it to a charity auction. Still it was a really decent piece of equipment with a field of view of 11 degrees, excellent build quality, and premium accessories. When offered on an auction, it can fetch as much as 100-200 dollars.

The Swift Panoramic 7×35 BWCF Mark II Model No. 766, the younger brother of the Holiday pair of binoculars, mentioned above, is still a part of my collection. The specimen I own was produced in 1966 and its basic parameters are the same as these of the Holiday. This pair of binoculars is beautiful to look at and very comfortable to hold, with an excellent set of accessories. What's more, the purchase won't ruin you as it can be bought for less than 200 dollars.
Swift also produced 7×35 binoculars with wider fields of view – here you should mention such models as the Swift Sport King MkI 7×35 Model No. 704 and its successor, the Swift Triton MkII 7×35 Model No. 704. Their fields of view amount to as much as 12 degrees. Despite excellent parameters and high build quality the binoculars are hardly expensive; you can buy them for a similar amount of money as other Swift models, described above. If you are lucky, you can even find them a bit cheaper and it will be an excellent purchase, completely recommendable to any binoculars fan and also to those people who simply enjoy handling devices which beauty moves your soul.
