Cons: Narrow field of view, only splash water proof
Pros: Light weight, ease of use
Summary: These binoculars are an older design and the field of view is clearly narrower than the other Zeiss 8x30 from the same period. Also, the sharpness falls off towards the edges. Chromatic aberrations are surprisingly low. The use is easy and the individual tube focusing is working surprisingly well in this system. In fact refocusing is hardly necessary with, even changing between different users. Definitely a useful binocular still today
