Cons: - As noted, some distorsion and blur near the edges - not waterproof, better to take care of humidity in the fild - easy to miscollimate
Pros: + Wonderfull FOV for astronomy!!! + very plastic 3D view during day + good grip and size for hand held observations + THE BINOCULAR. A legend with proven prestige among users and collectors + the smell......
Summary: I bougth this at a good price in a house clearance and i was happy to see that was the 1Q Multicoated version. They were miscollimated but i just unscrew the barrels and screw them again and it was perfect. This is not just part of my collection, but takes very regular use a night where it beat other binos due to its luminosity, center sharpness and FOV. the Pleiades through this bino are nicely framed in the FOV. 2 months ago i bought the original rubber eyecups and they are much more confortable.

Pros: Better than Fujinon FMT SX 7x50, very sharp focus that is pinpoint & crisp, mine are 1989 coated versions, brand new old stock. Feel like they belong in your hands.
Summary: I absolutely love these binoculars. I disagree that they belong in such low standing on Allbinos.com...should be much higher. I found the Fujinons to not focus well & these were in first place! Mine are 10x50 Jenoptems from DDR Zeiss but same as Dekarems. I can follow my cat\'s eyes as they walk with crystal clear optics & smooth as silk focusing! Only concern is not to drop them, as they are not built to military specs like Fujinons, but they blow Fujinons away on their crystal clear views with details!

Pros: Well made, IQ optics, export quality,sharp,and powerful, comfortable to hold , wide field of view
