For those who have been looking forward to new and improved binoculars of the Forest II series we have great news! We are launching three new models of binoculars of the series: 8,5x50, 10x50 and 12x50.
Last year’s success and popularity of previous models: 8x42 and 10x42 ensured us that we had met the customers’ needs. Forest II 8x42 took second place in the Optyczne.pl annual poll in the category “Prodyct of the Year” and was also awarded “Sowa z Rogowa” (Rogów Owl) award for the best product presented at the 2011 International Forestry Fair in Rogów. We decided to work on the parameters that would improve the quality of observation at dawn, dusk or at night.
And so we have come up with Delta Optical Forest II 8,5x50, 10x50 and 12x50. Just as in the whole series of Delta Optical Forest II binoculars, the optical system consists of 8 elements in 6 groups and has a high-quality BaK4 prism lenses. Binoculars optics are covered with phase-coating and silver, which provides an extremely bright and sharp images. Paired with prisms, all lenses in the Forest II models are high-quality and anti-glare layered. Thanks to those features, Forest II binoculars have high light transmission and neutral colors of the image. Well blackened interior of the inner tubes prevent the appearance of unwanted reflections and so-called "flare-ghosts''.
All binoculars of the Forest II series have smoothly moving central focus knob and individual diopter correction in the right eyepiece. Plastic eyecups (Twis-Up type) pop up, allowing for a comfortable fit for the individual needs of the observer. Forest II binoculars series can withstand even the toughest weather conditions. Their tight housing allows using in the moist ground and even in the rain. Forest II binoculars can withstand immersion in 1-meter deep water for up to 3 minutes and the nitrogen filling prevents lenses from fogging.
The enormous advantages of the new models is their compactness and light weight. All binoculars of the Forest II series with 50 mm lenses are the same size: 132x58x165 mm and weight: 900 grams. They are therefore the ideal compromise between small binoculars of 42 mm type and much larger and heavier models with 56-63 mm lens. Despite the high versatility that comes from 50 mm lens, the new Forest II present diversity in terms of magnification so that you can choose the appropriate parameters to suit your needs. 8.5x50 model is easy to use, provides a relatively large field view and a great eye-relief rate of 21.5 mm. The large, 6-mm exit pupil of binoculars makes an excellent tool for observing at dusk, at dawn, and even at night, when there are poor lighting conditions. Forest II 10x50 binoculars have all the standard parameters of the most popular binoculars among observers of nature. These binoculars’ versatile features allow comfortable observations, both day and night. These binoculars are a compromise between obtaining a high magnification and wide field of view and at the same time provides high surface brightness.
Forest II 12x50 binoculars are for people who need high magnification to observe objects from a distance. Magnification, however, is still small enough that it can easily result in a stable observation without a tripod. Because of the relatively small diameter of the exit pupil, these binoculars are better for daily observations.
The latest models of binoculars from Delta Optical Forest II series- 8.5x50, 10x50 and 12x50 are available at the Delta Optical stores. Each model has a three-year warranty.
